The exhibition Live is a collection of 20 new acrylic paintings created live on stage by local artist KENNY BOONE as a performance in the accompaniment of live music. The interaction of the two art forms has given birth to paintings that reflect the energy and rhythms of the music on hand. The surface of each canvas mirror the intense energy that is evoked in each scenario, the music becomes the creative fuel, the catalyst for an improvisation that wouldn’t happen without the live interaction.
The list of musicians who took part is extensive, Matt Minglewood, ECMA’s 2010, Fiddle Tree Assembly, Slow Coaster, Colin Grant, Garrett Mason, Joe Murphy, Gordie Sampson,Tom Fidgen, Buck & Kinch, Olenka and the Autumn Lovers, Matt Mayes, Rita McNeil, Men of the Deeps, Peter Gillis, Lumiere, J.P.
