I was born and raised in Cape Breton and began painting professionally in the early 1990’s. As an emerging artist, watercolour was my medium of choice and my surroundings influenced my style. Cape Breton continues to inspire me to paint land and seascapes but my creative curiosity has led me in new directions. My portfolio now includes people, abstracts and another medium-acrylic.

Over the years I’ve discovered that artistic vision can come from anywhere and at any time. If there’s anything I’ve learned as an artist, it’s to be open to the world around you and concepts for new works will present themselves without effort.
